We ask at the six-week recheck, not on the day
Asking a player how they feel about a fitting five minutes after it ends measures relief, not results. Everybody is pleased at that point. So we ask at the follow-up board session instead, once the clubs have been on a course a dozen times and the novelty has worn off.
Comments are edited for length only. Nothing here is written by us, nothing was offered in exchange for a discount, and the specification line under each one is copied straight off the build sheet in the file.
Not every session ends this way. A small number of players find the change too small to notice, and a few decide afterwards that they preferred what they had. When that happens we record it in the file too, because the pattern is more useful to us than the praise.
